Philippines: Day 18

Went to the ABS-CBN studio today cause my Mom got us seats for one of the most popular shows in the Philippines. Wowowee.

They took us on a little tour around the studio.

Here are the host and the one in red is hellaaa fine.

the darker girl in the middle is also pretty.

girl's face in the orange is priceless

After the show my Uncle drove us around Manila.

Where we ended up here in Fort Santiago which was used a long long time ago and I dont want to explain so you can enlarge the picture below and read for yourself. Thanks!

These footsteps are Jose Rizal's, who is the first Philippine National hero. These are the last footsteps he took before he was executed.

Jose Rizal Museum

These following books are what got him killed.

This is one of the places he was actually imprisoned.

and these are the clothes he actually wore.
and this is the last poem he wrote for his execution.

Here I went down into the old dungeons that they used. Prisoners were brought down there, where their arms were tied behind their backs and once the high tide comes in from the Pasig river which is right next to the fort, the water fills the dungeons and drowns all of the prisoners. It was pretty damn dark and scary down there and I ended up getting yelled at. ahah

Manila and Pasig River

Dungeons again.

Lifesize statue of Jose Rizal and where he was held at awaiting his execution.

This place was where the Presidential Inaguration was held about 3 days before this.
Jose Rizal Park or Luneta.

Jose Rizal's last poem translated in English.

Beer stands at the malls.

After that went home where we got some rest so we can drop off my Dad to the airport the following day.
