Super Fun Ride.

Man I can't stop smiling. Tonight's ride was one of the funnest I have ever been to and its even better cause I helped organize and plan it. Feel so hyped right now. Hope to make this a weekly thing. Until I have to go back to school.

Rode to REI Fremont today to turn in an application. Hopefully I get the job *crosses fingers*. It would be pretty cool to work there. They had so much cool stuff I hella wanted to shop. But then again I have no income so I had to hold back.

Then I went o Carl's house and hung out. Cooked pancakes and rode for a bit.

I just realized.

That yesterday was July 23, exactly one year to this date was the day I crashed my car and this was the result. Second car I totaled and I dont know why but I decided not to buy a car and to see if a bicycle as a mode of transportation was enough to get me around.


Since then I have officially gone through one whole year without a car. Man imagine how much money I saved from not buying gas.

But I did drive today. I drove my very first car (87 325e) and man it did feel good driving a stickshift again. But I am on a hunt for a new car, some sort of wagon and if I cant find one maybe I'll just settle for a old beater toyota/honda. We'll see...

This is what the shoes look like after about 3 hours of riding. The red is from my straps. Red suede bleeeeeds. Damn if they look like this after 3 hours. Imagine for 2 weeks or even 2 months.

Sherry left for Chile today. It feels weird not having her around or even talking to her on the computer or on the phone. But this will only be for two weeks. Thats not too bad.
Have fun there!
