Update Request

So Ive been getting a few of my friends asking me to update my blog. To either see what Ive been doing, so they have something to read at work, or just some pictures to look at. Well here you guys go.

Ryan got a job as a bike messenger in the city and needed a bike with brakes so he can be covere dont the company's insurance so I sold him my bike.. kinda. He hasnt paid me yet so for collateral I have his track bike.
Went out to Daly City area a few times in the past couple of weeks. Visiting and catching up with an old friend. Always nice and always fun. Went out drinking in the city.

Foodz

Put a new fork on the bike. The wound up Justin gave me as a part of the payment for my old camry which he is fixing up and its coming along nicely.
Sunsets are nice and all but they suck when youre driving in the sun's direction and you forgot your shades.
And Happy Birthday LONG!
Went and celebrate Long's 22nd at his brother's house and got on a party bus to the city. I must say that was pretty fun until the alcohol started kicking in and some people couldnt handle it. But it was still a whole lot of fun.
The next day after work, Long invited me to his older brother's friend's going away party where a lot of keg stands and beer pong games were played. Thanks for inviting me Long.
Then a family dinner. Showed my family Pepperlunch. Only one in the U.S. right now.

My little brother is running for Vice President at his school. I helped him campaign and gave away some lollipops. But I guess that wasnt enough cause he lost to this girl. Hes pretty bummed about it. I just keep telling him that you cant win everything and theres always next time and I hope he understands.
The other night went to SJ for smoke eaters with some friends. Then ended the night with Yogurtland.
Spent a day with my grandparents.
Each and every day I think Ive either been running or on my bike. This whole being unemployed (real career job at least) sucks. So I just try my best to be productive. I just cant sit on my ass all day.

But last night was SUPER weird. I went to this little hang out a friend of mine invited to. Hes younger than me so I expected a younger crowd but I was pretty fucking surprised when my little sister's friends showed up... these guys are still in their teens. They cant even buy cigarettes! Man Ive never felt so old! But I made the most out of it and just hung out. Still fun.
Finally. Today. Gretchen is going on vacation for a month and her, Gary, and I had a catch up lunch. Nice talking guys!
Then rode my ass home with the wind kicking my ass.

Now youre all caught up! See you again in the next few days!

Last week

Still lagging on updating. But here is pretty much what went on last week.

Hung out in SF. Got to see a friend and got a lot of catching up done. :)

We even had enough time to go grocery shopping and picked up this instant lasagna for dinner.
An old classmate of mine is back in town after getting a job in southern california and we had a little lunch get together.
Meet peter.

After DnBs
On my way to work they were having the Newark festival I believe?
and had this $850 bird for sale?!!
On the way to Fentons.

This guy was really crazy about donuts. He was all up in the shop window licking that thing all over.
I wasnt kidding.
Then on the Sunday I promised my Grandma Id come over along with my siblings. She decided to cook for us (if you didnt know my grandma is one of the best cooks ever). She cooked us some bomb fried chicken and pancit!

We dont get to see her everyday like we used to so these once a week gatherings we have are really fun and we dont take her or my grandpa for grandted.

Look how happy she is.
Then more wings at hooters.
I took on this picture on the way home after my introduction with Four Loko. Never again and I going to drink that thing... ever! First of all it tastes gross and I have never been that drunk off a 32 ounce bottle. There is something in that drink, I dont know what, but it's evil!

Siclista Classic

Last week I was invited by my Dad's co worker to join this ride called Siclista Classic. Its ran by a group called Siclista, they are older filipino guys from around this area! Ive always wanted to ride with them but I didnt have a road bike for the longest time and now I do I decided to go.

It was a nice 50 something miler ride. Fully supported with pit stops with food and a huge bbq after. If only all of my rides were like this. There were a lot of people on the ride, people from all over California and one guy even flew in from Houston!

heres me and Kuya Frank. My Dad's co worker.
Good turnout and a lot of carbon.
I cant afford to buy some cyclng shades so I wore Ray Bans haha. Like my friend said "looking fly while flying"
There was also a race up Sierra Rd. Hardest climb I have ever done. I was actually contemplating about even riding it that day since its such a painful ride. I ended up getting 10th... I was kind of disappointed with my performance but I was off the bike for a while and havent done a lot of long rides. But next year... Im aiming to take it.

Oh while in the Philippines, since people knew I liked riding bikes I would always get people telling me about this guy Manuel Reynante. He is from our province and won Tour of Luzon twice back in the 70s I believe. And guess who I met on the ride!
Thats him in the middle. 65 years old and still faster than half of the group!

I cant wait to win next year!
