I miss field trips. But yesterday our community health teacher was nice enough to take us on one. Took us to the Sikh Temple in Fremont. They welcome everyone just need to cover you hair and no shoes. You can give a donation but it's not mandatory and in turn they will give you something to eat. They also said that they will also provide you a place to stay if you really need it. So if you ever see their flag at a temple kind of like the one below. Go check it out.

So him, ruel and I have been hanging out. Yesterday we went to Montano Velo and then Asian Ghetto in Berkeley to splurge on some food. Pasta. Donuts. and Hotdogs. then hung out with Jenny later in the day.

Daycation San Diego
Thanks to Mr. King for the holiday and although its not very beneficial to students and teachers, a furlough day was just what I needed. I ended up having a 6 day weekend and didnt really have much planned. So I gave my friends a call and booked a flight (thanks again mom).
My plane arrived last night in San Diego at 8 p.m. Tommy and Hoa were there to pick me up and we headed to get some dollar tacos at World's Famous in Pacific Beach. Well worth the dollar. Got some beers afterwards and had a few rounds of beer pong. Had a few other friends over at the house. It was a real good night. Consisted of 100 push up challenge. Hooks. Food. and lots more. Just hella laughs throughout all night.
The next day was spent on campus, walking around, people watching, eating, and actually some homework. In the couple of hours I was in the library I was more productive than I would have been 8 hours at home. Got lunch. Visited Danikka. Chilled at Hoa's and got on a plane at 6:35 p.m.
Now Im back home. Warm and cozy in bed. and to whoever said that it never rains in Southern California. They lied. It was gushing buckets out there. At least it waited til I was on the way to the airport. But thanks again San Diego. See you in again in a few weeks.

Just a warning.
Okay. I had a whole essay based on the phrase below. It had something to do with relationships and was getting good too, but I changed my mind and deleted everything. Towards the end I just realized how much work it takes dealing with them (in this case, writing about them) and writing all 8 paragraphs about 'em got tiring. So lets just keep it simple.

Happy (early) Birthday Gretchen!
Went out last night to go celebrate Gretchen's birthday a few days early. Was pretty fun and the mission was accomplished. See what you get for saying that you arent gonna get fucked up. I thought you would have learned from me. Now look, you ended up in a shopping cart. hahaha. Dont get mad. Happy Birthday.
^I had to do that per request of the birthday girl. hahahaaaaaa

100 dollar music video
Here's the latest from M.I.A and Rusko and if my sources are correct this video cost only a mere 100 dollars. Just shows that you dont need to spend thousands or even millions on videos showing off your lavish lifestyle filled with nice cars, shiny jewelry, gigantic houses, and girls that are so fine you question if they're even real. When it gets down to it. Good music is going to be good music.
6 hours
Thats how long my nap ended up to be. Got home from school, laid down around 4 and when I woke up it was already dark out. I was thinking it would have been around 7 pm or so, but no, it was 10. So it's about to be 4 am soon and Im still wide awake and I have to be up in a few hours for school again.
Speaking of school. It's just the second week but it's slowly but surely starting to take over my life again. Ive been visiting some elderly people around the tri-city area for a volunteer group called Life Elder Care and doing interviews to see what they need and to find more ways in which we can help their lives a little bit easier. Also Ive been having these fitness tests for boot camp class. Glad to know I still got my legs, my lungs on the other hand, thats a different story. But Im feeling pretty good about the class cause I can take it easy since there really isnt anyone "fast" in the class, therefore I dont have to work so hard and I have some room to slack off cause I do not want to be sore every week for the next 9 weeks.
Oh and I had another test today. This time its for a real class. Psychology. I havent taken a test in a while and I somehow couldnt take thisone seriously. 4 chapters in 1 week and a test on all 4 the next week? come on. But I had a 5 hour break today and used about 1 to cram. I ended up getting a 36/40 which equals out to 90%. The grade I got is fine. I could have done better. Next test Im studying for an hour and a half.
Oh and heres and omelet sandwich.

Whole lot of fog
I was up pretty late last night and I took a step outside around 4 in the morning and was greeted by this:
Its only been a week after the drive back home from Vegas and I guess the fog followed us home. It felt pretty cool standing in the middle of the street surrounded by all the fog. A bit scary cause I know cars cant see me but whos gonna be driving around my street at 4 in the morning?

The other day
I had to go to work to sign some papers and while there I ran into a customer, Mark, whom has been staying with us for a while talking to my co-worker. My co-worker later then brought up that Mark stayed in the Philippines for a while. (He's white by the way) We had a little conversation about my homeland and how much he liked it out there. I ended up finding out that he was a Nurse, has a degree in Biology, has been to a whole bunch of countries, likes Japanese girls, and that he is a damn good artist. He sent some pictures to my co-worker and she later forwarded it to me with a little note. Pictures are pretty damn good. Check em' out.
These were taken with a different camera in a different time for me. As I look at them again I can remember those times. In some ways it seems a lifetime ago now. In other ways it feels like yesterday. I guess thats from getting older. But these are some of what I saw and tried to capture.
Hope you like them
Mark
This one's my favorite.
