Dream come true!

My bad day turned into a real happy one. I finally got the chance to put a dog in a bag and take it for a ride on my bike!

I got to take Sadie, Sheila's (Jeff's girlfriend) dog.
This is one of the main reasons why I want my own dog. Made me sooooo happy.

All work, All play

I really need a day off. This week I am working 9 straight days and the one day that I do have a day off, I have to go into an interview . I need to get it cause not having any free time is starting to get to me. The other night I had a fever at work and now Im sitting here coughing my lungs out. At this rate, by the end of the day Im about to do my laundry on my stomach. Man, my body just cant keep up like it used to, I guess I really am getting old.

But getting sick is totally worth the fun that I have been having. Things have just been falling into place little by little. Been spending some quality time with some of my good friends and were just getting closer and closer. Theres a constant in my life. Im happy and I can honestly say that this is the happiest Ive been for a while. Now if only I can kill this interview and get that job!


Now meet Douglas. The first dog I ever took for a walk. This boy is stubborn but his chill-ness level totally makes up for all of it. I really really want one.

The other night I got a text from my good friend Hoa, or if youre in San Diego its Devon, I guess it's more professional. It was an invite for a last minute potluck at our friend, Long's house. Nothing better than beer and pizza for dinner.

Then we proceeded to get super wasted playing beer pong and taking patron shots. I love these guys and this night just totally brought me back to when I first met all of them. All we ever did was drink! These kinds of nights are the ones well be looking back months and years from now and laughing about.

Next night we all met up again for dinner. Talked about what happened and what we could remember.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope you guys are enjoying stuffing all yall faces and then feeling guilty about how much food you just ate and making plans when youre going to exercise to try to burn off those few thousand calories you just consumed! haha. Sorry I think I am just a little bitter cause at this very moment I am stuck at work watching the clock count down while everyone else is enjoying good food along with the company of their family. I was going to say "loved ones" but we all know there are always those relatives that you hate! But hey at least Im making money! $$!!

I wasnt expecting much out of my Birthday this year, but it turned out to be one of the better birthdays Ive had in a long time.

Got a nice package dropped off at midnight along with tons of texts and phone calls. I was definitely feeling special. I couldnt get a good night's sleep cause my phone was just going crazy.

Got an early start on the day and was taken out to breakfast to Mama's cafe in Oakland. This place is pretty damn good and has a nice classic feel to the place with some of the best napkin art Ive ever seen hung all over the walls. I high recommend you go and grab yourself some.
The rest of the day was spent with my Grandparents. My Grandpa and I did a little shopping and grabbed a late lunch. Saw one of the best looking watch ever. At night headed over to Dave and Busters in Milpitas. This was the perfect place to have your birthday because its such a big place, it gives you places to hide from friends that are trying to get you fucked up. More people than I expected came out, but what really mattered to me was that people that I really wanted to show up, showed up. I could have cared less if no one came but as long as those select few did, I was happy. You guys know who you are.

Thanks again to everyone who came out and tried to get me fucked up. You gys succeeded on some level since I had to work all day with a hangover, BUT I did NOT throw up. Succkkaaaas!

thats what an older asian lady said to us yesterday afternoon, while taking a stroll around downtown Oakland.

I couldn't stop laughing and cause of that one little extra comment she added about our shorts, I still can't decide how I feel about it.

But crossing the street diagonally, finding out we can buy dinner to feed the both of us that costs under 5 dollars and a good cup of coffee. Definitely made for a good night.

20 hour days

Being awake for 20 hours and working most of it, is NOT fun. Even though I loved the fact that I was making the most out of every minute of my day, I was exhausted. I would wake up at 4 in the morning to make it to the health screening clining I was working by 5:30 and once that was done I had to head back home to grab a change of clothes just to go work at my other job. Keeping that hectic schedule made last week feel just like one very very long day.

Today was the first day I actually got to sleep in and I made the most out of it. Woke up at 12:30! and look I even found the time to blog!

Let me start with Saturday. Last day of the health screening clinic and my co workers (still feels weird saying "co workers") and I went out to grab lunch at IKEA. The whole time I kept wondering why there were so many kids out during lunch time, then I realized it was Saturday! haha

This dog was super cute and super huge for a puppy. I over heard the owners mentioning that it's father weighs 175 pounds and stands over 6 feet!

Then the other day I got the chance to stay at a friend's loft-ish apartment. Before that though, have you guys been noticing how ridiculously pretty th sunsets and sunrises have been lately?!

During my stay there I had to constantly show this needy ass cat attention. But he had me a good laugh when he fell into this box! LOL
I even woke to it laying on top of me.
First time trying out Blue Bottle coffee. I approve.
Ended the night with a 15 minute sprint from my work to Union City! I havent ridden that hard in so long and my legs let me know today. To make up for all that effort me and the guys went to Fat Boy Justin's where I had cake, beer, AND thai tea all at the same time! Then watched "grown ups."
Well, I gotta sleep. Technically my second day at the job but it will be my first day working on my own! ahhh im pretty nervous. Goodnight

Up and Running

Finally got my laptop in the mail. Havent had time to mess with it and set it up just the wayI like. My days have been super busy with all this new work comiing in. I finally got my first nursing job at an eye surgery clinic in Fremont. Thank god cause I was starting to feel useless.

Ive also been running into a whole lot of good luck lately which I cant complain much about. But seems like that ended a couple of days ago. Im tired and I feel like Im getting sick. I know itll all be worth it once I get those paychecks in a couple of weeks.

I also got some stuff I want to get off my chest, but Ill save that for another post. Im just waiting to see how everything works out. For now, just enjoy the pictures.

Ruel is back and so are cookie nights at this place. I think this night has been the biggest one so far. With a whole bunch of guys, but its okay. There was one girl there that cancels out all the gayness.

Took my grandparents to the Philippine Consulate to get their passports renewed and after I went and took them around Union Square.

They were preparing the tree and the skating rink that I think opened yesterday?

Took my grandparents to get some Thai food. Their first time trying thai tea. But check out this flower made out of a straw wrapper.

When Im old and grey. These are the types of watches I will be wearing. But its never too early to start. So if anyone of you out there is kind enough or just love me that much, this Rolex would be an amazing birthday gift!

Then drove this chill ass cat from the city to Santa Clara so he can make his way out to Portland. Best cat ever. This cat was acting like a dog.

Been waking up at 4 a.m. to get to San Pablo by 5:30 till 10:30 to do this. Then right after head home to get ready to work my other job from 2 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Then do it all over tomorrow. I am about to turn into a zombie pretty soon.

Lunch with the other nurses working there. After this meal/day I am thinking about going to not eating meat. I got my cholesterol checked today and they are pretty damn high. Even though I am fit and all, I guess what I eat is still making a big impact on my health. Im going to re-check tomorrow and Ill make a decision from there.
